yeah would be interesting. i use ai tools to code a lot and chatgpt and copilot are the biggest liars ever. They just make up reasons for why code doesn't work sometimes. Its useful for snippets but not much more in my experience.

I personally find AI to be very overrated for tasks that aren't basic. I end up fixing a lot of the stuff myself. I just use boilerplate code but there was ways to get stuff done with AI if you are smart about it and don't expect it hand holding you everytime

Sure. I built an escrow service that is about 10,000 lines of code, and I made almost all of it with AI. It took around 10 days to complete. The most annoying part was that ChatGPT was too slow and generally not very good. DeepSeek was better, but its chat limits were a problem and forced me to create a new chat after almost every message because of token restrictions. Claude AI also had limits that prevented me from developing much.

I finished it mostly using deepseek. I also had ChatGPT plus at the time.

Yeh, u can tell lol. It seemed like it was written in a week of prompts. AI is cool on IDEs but actual vibe coding is slop. In modern IDEs u do actually learn from what ur recommended to do so I enjoy that

I love AI and use it everyday. It makes my work 10x faster and more enjoyable but yeah you need to treat it as a tool. Software developers aren't going anywhere anytime soon.
