I am confused. I need to get a bimax.
  1. I can either get it with a surgeon in the country I am in and it would be covered by insurance. Now since it is covered by insurance, you can understand that I need it, so please don't say that Bimax is cope. There is a reason I am a candidate.
  2. Or I can get it with an aesthetically focused surgeon in another country but then I will need to pay for it
Would I be stupid to go for 1 to save 20k EUR if I am making close to 80k EUR per year right now? Or would I be stupid to spend the money since the surgeon in the current country maybe able to produce a decent result?

What would you do? Why?

if i could get it for free then no because the outcome will be the same or do you expect the aesthetic surgeon do to something different? just go for a consultation and see if his suggestions are significant enough to be worth it. what's your issue anyways? do you need crazy movements?

I had a consultation with the aesthetic surgeon and I liked it a lot. I haven't had a consultation with the surgeon that may do my surgery here. I'll have it next month maybe.

My biggest worry is that this surgeon may not be aesthetically focused and just want to fix my bite issues. In my case, I can get a significant improvement from this surgery since I see several things that can be improved. I would need CCW rotation with upper jaw advancement and maybe slight lower jaw setback. Aesthetic surgeons may also do other shit that may improve aesthetics.

If the surgeon is only focused on bite it would be a missed opportunity. I am waiting to have the consultation with him.

consult with the free doctor and tell him you want to improve your looks. there's only so many different ways you can move the jaw so i think you'd be taking a low risk by going with a local surgeon. 20k is not a lot though, if you don't like what he says or doesn't seem good just pay for the aesthetically focused one

Yeah that's what I am thinking. It's just that some surgeons are just bluepilled. But I maybe underestimating him. I agree with you otherwise, I'm waiting to see his plan and what he thinks and absed on that I will decide.

they're not bluepilled, they might have a different perspective of beauty than you but they are not bluepilled

Option 2 110%-both will fix your health problems, but the aesthetic focused surgeon will def give you a better looking end result.
