Wouldn't MSE help a higher ES ratio more than a lower one?

On this forum I always see people advocating to get mse for those with narrow set eyes because slight increase in ipd has been measured. However, due to the purpose of mse, the midface as a whole becomes much wider. Given that the ipd measurement itself doesn't really matter much but rather its proportions along with others, the much larger expansion of the zygos and upper jaw would seemingly destroy the ES ratio much more. Wouldn't this be more beneficial for people with normal/wide set eyes that have narrow zygos/midface (which is the problem that I have)?

Is my logic correct?

I think it only expands the upper jaw , palate width and lip width (Maybe it will increase width of lower third too)
But your fwhr pretty much remains the same.

I forgot about this. But basically, since I’ve seen evidence already of apparent IPD increase in MSE (still have to make that thread lol), it likely wouldn’t be a problem for most, maybe it will if your ES ratio is like less than 0.4 or something insane like that.

Also, ES ratio frauding is incredibly effective (as shown by @Senssei ’s killer thread last month).

Hmm I was more so referring to the effect am very high ratios (mine is around .51). Do you know what aesthetic effect it would have on that?

Well if your IPD at all widens, then your midface and Bizygomatic width should widen at least at the same rate, if not more—at the same rate would lead to a neutral effect, at a faster rate would lead to a positive effect.

Alright that’s great, just wanted to make sure there weren’t any holes in my logic. The papers I read and people I talked to say that the midface widens a lot more than the ipd so that’s pretty great.
