Animals terrify me. I just can't fathom what must be running through their brains, or how they perceive me and their environment. They're so fucking weird.

How are we so different to them? Just because we think we're sentient. We see them as creatures controlled entirely by primitive urges, devoid of any free will. But we are basically the same.

Like I said, animals terrify me. And I agree - wtf even are they? They terrify and sicken me because they live and die everyday, but their lives feel so futile. They're just stupid animals. But our lives are basically the same and just as meaningless.

When I try to understand or empathise with animals, my brain aches just trying to perceive their existence. Science needs to figure out who the fuck these motherfuckers actually are

The only thing I can make of them is the desperation to stay alive. The other day, I watched a squirrel and bird chase another squirrel that had a baby woodpecker in his mouth. He later ate him.
