Also how would this be a ww3? Russia is about 200% as strong as a NATO supplied Ukraine. They would quickly lose against a faction with over 700 million people, far larger military and productive base.

America getting involved in a major war with NATO and russia would have huge and crazy ramifications on the political landscape of the world,

becasue it would mean that America can no longer project power globally as it used to, meaning it may withdraw troops and bases from the middle east/gulf

would could trigger Iran to attack the gulf/arabian peninsula and attempt to conquer it,
