Y'all know anyone who has done canthus cutting of at least 1mm, and if it's permanent?

I tried cutting my canthus today and it worked but very little. I've been reading about canthus cutting and some say it doesn't last long and leaves a scar and others say it was permanent,idk

over time it can be permanent
