Us Israelites must come back to the Lord. Just like you have a woman who is supposed to be a loyal servant to you, thats how we are meant to be to Yahawashi.
Isaiah 54:5
For thy Maker is thine husband; the LORD of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called.
Isaiah 62:5
For as a young man marrieth a virgin, so shall thy sons marry thee: and as the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, so shall thy God rejoice over thee.
Isaiah 50:1
Thus saith the Lord, Where is the bill of your mother's divorcement, whom I have put away? or which of my creditors is it to whom I have sold you? Behold, for your iniquities have ye sold yourselves, and for your transgressions is your mother put away.
Jeremiah 3:1
They say, If a man put away his wife, and she go from him, and become another man's, shall he return unto her again? shall not that land be greatly polluted? but thou hast played the harlot with many lovers; yet return again to me, saith the Lord.
Because we played the whore and committed spiritual adultery by turning away from him, the Lord divorced us.
However he has given us a chance to come back to him. We have cheated on him too long with the other nations and their idols, now its time to put that away. Don't wait until it's too late, then come crawling back like a used up whore after the other man abused her and kicked her to the curb.
