I'm 193cm I'm taller than my dad and my big brother
I was malnourished when I was kid my diet was not perfect , I think I grew up tall because of placebo effect, when I was a kid I was convinced that eating cheese will make me stronger and taller because of this cheese ads I saw on the television so I eated a lot of cheese, the cheese I was eating is not real cheese its a cream cheese preparation have less nutrients then real cheese, so I don't think it's the cheese that made me grow taller but more my strong beliefs in that's ad that I saw on the television (placebo effect)
and you can still use placebo effect on yourself
let's say there's a method or a diet that people says that it will make you taller
if we make tow people follow this method , one of them have a strong beliefs in the method and the other think that its just coping, the guy with strong beliefs will get better results

i agree. all methods ppl call "cope" may indeed be scientifically unsound but, if the user truly believes in it, the placebo effect does its thing and they explode in height.

ie. its not the method but the belief in said method that brings about results.

of course its less secure and easy to control than reality and concrete action but it can definitely work wonders.

It makes me wonder how much more people could have succeeded if we didn't have such a pessimistic and negative mindset that this forum promotes. :(

Yeah I gave myself that when I heard growth never stops and beleived consuming dairy would make me a 6'7 dutch giant but guess what? I never grew past the age of 17

true , I think people that memic attractive people facial expressions in Thier childhood and keep using those facial expressions, thier face muscles will adapt and they gonna end up looking just as attractive as the people they mimic , this will effect your eyes area and smile if you laughed all your life monkey you will look like a monkey when you laugh .

when I had placebo effect I was very young like 10 12 so it was in a phase where I'm supposed to grow the placebo effect was just a booster

Or it was written in your dna

i’m convinced doubting yourself all the time and thinking you’re less than you truly are actually makes you less than you are. the problem lies when people start saying cope is bad when you start avoiding cope you may just make things worse for yourself
