if they suddenly became GL they would spend all day going out with people and socialising

The association extroversion social battery is right but misleading, introverts and extroverts function quite differently

It depends more about looksmach imo. Even subs5 nerds have often friends (usually sub5 friends but still they are people they are socializing with) So if sub5 say that he is introvert then he actually probably is. Sub5 are usually more introverted because of their interests etc. .

Money and verbal and physical dominance too. Seeing that you cannot compete with rich kids, losing debates, losing physical battles. All of these make you inferior to other men/ kids so you cope with being an introvert. Which is why becoming confident and not shy is cope. The real issues are your poor parents, your inferior looks, your inferior ability to debate and beat up other men.
