In most cases, sure. But I’d say this would apply more to seeing them in their natural environment and habitat where they’re comfortable.
People mask a ton of their actions and true intentions while they’re in uncomfortable situations or in situations where their reputation is on the line
Like the story about the friendly gardening neighbor who is a serial killer.
If you’re good, you can decipher through most of the masking..but I’d argue it’s much less than 90% if you see them often in a setting where their behavior is observed and weighed like work, and less so(but still applies) school
