That’s what I realized. The saying “you don’t know what you got until you lose it” is correct. I remember the beautiful days. The careless days. The youth. It’s not that I didn’t love it while I was living in those days, but I just didn’t appreciate it completely until my life shifted and changed. So in a way, the only way to truly see the beauty of those days was to leave them behind and move on, or else I’d always be inside those days and would never be able to take a step back and see them like I can now. I’d be happy, but I wouldn’t truly know the beauty.
when you’re inside the rainbow, it’s beautiful and colorful. But you don’t truly get the beautiful full view until you are out of it and can see it from a distance.
