why do i constantly keep getting fed these words by my own parents.

it would’ve made sense back then, with the lack of statistical beauty metrics linked to the face,
but it’s now 2026, and almost everything about human beauty has been discovered.

my parents, usually so reliant on statistics and data… all of a sudden it doesn’t matter anymore to them.
unless it involves anything other than looks, of course.
