A part of surviving in this society is knowing how to play your role as best as you can. I've been coming across a few people in real life where it seems like they get their lifestyle advice from channels like charisma on command.

In the workplace it becomes increasingly obvious when you see a coworker who was previously shy or kept to himself start to become extroverted and try to become the center of attention without having the looks to back it up, or physicality for that regard.

When men like this do this they just look like clowns; just imagine a short, skinny glasses wearing guy trying to act tough and "alpha" it just doesn't work. Everyone in the room knows something is off.

TLDR: just be yourself bro, if you dont look the part then don't attempt to be something you're not. Play up to your strengths, if youre funny just jestermaxx. It may not be what you want but it is the most viable strategy for you to succeed.

Yep.

However people know you, you are kind of restricted to. I think it's best then to be unpredictable right?

Quiet some days extroverted others?

That's how I've been. They probably have no idea why though. It's not working either way jfl I have to try again next time in a different social group.

If you really want to change and have people treat you differently your only option is to make a new life elsewhere, another country. The people you've known for so long around you will never accept the new you.

This. I will not conform to the script and part I was given so I will re enter society when I can play the part I want to be.

Its just that once you've gone monkmode you must find new friends and a new environment, people you know will feel threatened once they see you are not the wimp you once were.

It was either this or staying quiet and not talking to anyone, in high-school I was pretty much invisible, I didn't talk to any girls, I felt the need to overcompensate when I went to college...

How did that work for you? Did you get girls on your dick?

I’m finding that already. I can make new friends easily but my old ones or people who knew me before want even less to do with me now.

Yes, I got a girlfriend eventually and found my place in a circle of cool people, after I toned down my act a little.

Just NT maxx theory confirmed???

I remember back at summer camp when I was 16 everyone would always bully this short kid because he didn't stay in his lane. He wanted so hard to be a leader, so hard to be alpha. When he tried to gather people as teammates in a game, "Hey guys come on!" Someone just yelled, "Elvis, shut up you cant be a leader." It was brutal, poor kid tbh.

Same bro, but I learned real quick. Pretending to be someone you're not is actually exhausting and people can sense the fakeness.

And they were right, Elvis will never be a leader with his shit frame and poor height all a product of poor genetic quality

It's kinda sad honestly. If you're short or ugly people have a certain expectation and perception of you and if you don't follow it you're hated for it. Darwinism at play - the meek are destined to be at the bottom of the barrel.

You're actually deemed as less attractive if you try to be something you're not.

Sometimes you have to accept you will be the Jonah hill to decaprio. Its not all doom and gloom though you can still play a hell of a role as supporting actor....

As it did to me and I didn't even have to say a single word for the most part. I was a shy guy, barely spoke yet everyone liked me. I'm sure it had nothing to do with the fact that I was taller and better looking than them, my "aura" and personality were the causes. People like mysterious guys!
