sharing another straightforward piece of advice (from my experience), this time for improving posture.

when sitting/ standing you should keep your spine in a *Relatively* neutral position, ie still with somewhat of an "S" but only mildly, and consciously contract your abs and chin tuck to keep it there.

This diagram/sketch explains it pretty easily:

having good posture makes your life easier and health better which contributes to looks over time, be consistent.

hope this helps👍

Could you explain why consciously contracting abs is good ? It fix pelvic tilt or what it is ?

A good cue is imagining your spine being stretched

And another one when standing or walking is bending your knees slightly

basically by rotating your pelvis you are stretching and using more your fascia, this leads to a better balance of forces. there's only one youtube channel that make quality videos about this topic and where i think the op got these information https://www.youtube.com/@delsartealexandermasoeroyo9147
Ive always flexed my erector spinae alongside glutes and hamstrings, thats the feeling you get from squats, deadlifts, hyperextensions

Tucking the pelvis feels so weird because it doesnt activate the erector spinae but the abs instead and feels like im falling forward

We need posturemaxxing botb thread

Do all of this except move your head forward. It’s not forward head posture foreward head posture is different: you need to release muscles by pushing the head forward not backwards, it’s also helpful for maxilla and good for forward growth. There is science behind it
