If something doesn’t have a direct impact on me, chances are I’m completely indifferent/apathetic to it.

I see people posting on social media about Ukraine and Palestine and I could not care less. I don’t need more things to worry about. Something happening halfway across the world is not something I’m thinking about. I don’t even care about the politics in my own country.

I also don’t gossip for this same reason- most people are so dull and uninteresting that I don’t care what they do in their daily lives and what feuds they’re having.
