Pretty old story, happened in 7th grade... One of my classmates tried to run away from home to some "friend's" house in another city, their mom was a teacher at our school (although not in our class) and every day would bring her lunch to school as she would come to school at like 3PM and we start school at 12:45, today she comes to our class to bring their child lunch and they are not at school, she calls them like 50 times and eventually calls the police as they are keeping their phone on airplane mode, The police goes searching for her child and eventually, like three hours later, about when we finish classes they find them in the bus station of a nearby village. News makes it all across our city and rumors of them trying to unalive themselves....
Next day four policemen come to our class to ask us if we knew anything, During the entire day everyone talked all about that shit, the very moment the policemen entered our school the entire school had a new subject to worry about: One of the policemen was a 6'1 hCL, literally every single girl in our school (ages 12-14) comes to our classroom to look at the policeman, my classmates literally take candids of him and a foid literally told me how lucky his gf must be and how she wished to be in her place... By the time they leave no one even remembers the child that tried to commit suicide, all they care about is chad, EVERY SINGLE GIRL IN OUR ENTIRE SCHOOL!!

You can try to kill yourself but Chad will get more attention just for existing jfl
