You'll feel more of a burn in your forearms when you do a semi-hang as opposed to when you do a dead hang

Idk why, perhaps it's a slight change in angle

But instead of doing a dead hang, place your feet on the floor and bend your knees a bit

Whenever I do this for the same time as a dead hang, I feel my forearms starting to ache much quicker, whereas with dead hangs it's usually my hands which start to hurt first
