Once you become blackpilled you become immediately much more crtiical of your own looks. If you knew you were better looking despite being treated normally you would have a lot more confidence. It is determined by the results you get. You can be confident at a sport if you do well in it irrelevant of looks. But confidence with women is determined by their responses towards your presence and interaction with them. However, you can still build up general confidence. Confidence as scientific research dictates is nothing less or more than the absence of negative emotions.

Confidence is almost entirely made up, EVERYBODY is insecure about SOMETHING. From subhuman to gigachad, EVERYBODY has at least one thing they’re insecure about, it’s just human nature, psych 101.

Whether or not you’re PERCEIVED as confident (what actually matters and what people are actually talking about without knowing it) is entirely based on what you look like. I became instantly quiet and reserved when I entered secondary school at age 11, at about 14-15 I started to notice boys' bones were popping and flaring out, getting larger etc, same with wrists and biceps while mine weren't and this was brutal (I was never blackpilled or knew anything about aesthetics at this time).
