I remember, early-mid 2025, I told someone here that I'm not going to be taking bimatoprost, despite the fact it's an utter GOLD tier ascension for eyelashes, because of the fact that there are lots of anecdotes and evidence that it melts eye fat pads
[makes your eyes look like a 70 yr old woman's]
Someone else replied "I have been using Bimatoprost for a year, my eyelashes have gotten to a mogger length, and I have gotten absolutely no fat pad recession"
[not his pic, just an example]
And, it reminded me how I once heard about someone in his late 30's who was smoking for close to 20 years, and when he told his doctor that he had been smoking over a pack a day for 20 years, his doctor was shocked, because he had none of the symptoms. They ran tests [free healthcare country] and discovered he had 98% of the lung health of the average non smoker his age.
Smoking has basically not affected him at all, obviously because of very lucky genetics.
And, imagine if someone said "yeah I would start smoking because it looks cool and I like the smell of tobacco smoke, but I don't want lung cancer, and the issues that come with smoking" and that guy replied "brooo I've been smoking for 20 years, I'm perfectly healthy, it's just hysteria brooo start smoking."
Just because you have gotten extremely good results from something, doesn't mean others will.
[not trying to insult that guy with this image, it's just funny]
