I read the whole study and article on this.
Nah but basically your mirror is flipped (just like the snapchat cam, thats why you look better in them too but ill explain why you think you look better) take a mirrored pic on snap or in the mirror and then flip it horizontally.
Boom, you look the same as your front cam selfie, in which you think you look like shit.
The reason is because theyre flipped and your brain is used to seeing some flaws so when you look in the flipped version ur used to seeing your brain HIDES the flaws to make you feel better for some reason.
You dont notice a mole, or asymmetry or anything like that.
Btw, another reason is because when we look at the face we are programmed to automatically look at the right side of the face.
