Our ancestors had heroes that they could look up to and emulate, like for example they would think of Achilles and it would inspire them to be courageous and seek glory. Nowadays people equate the concept of hero to capeshit with some broken powers instead of a real human but with a godly nature.

I don't see this at all, they didn't really strongly promote blacks until like 2000s-2010s
