I recently read a thread about leanmaxxing and for the most part alot of the information in it was good but then it started talking about how "food isn't joy, you need spartan discipline, save dopamine for women and income" (this reads like hamza tier redpill drivel) and I understand how someone addicted to fast food might need to have this mindset, but for the most part it's unsustainable bullshit unless you are a small woman. First of all Hollywood actors who are super lean absolutely enjoy their food, they have personal chefs they pay hundreds of thousands of dollars for and spend thousands of dollars at fancy restaurants. They aren't eating like bodybuilders. The difference between goyslop and fancy food is that a really good chef can make a healthy nutritious meal that tastes better than fast food. Nowadays with all these sugar free sweeteners and zero calorie fat alternatives it's insanely easy to make your own yummy foods that don't taste like shit, it only takes an ounce of effort. If you aren't a sedentary POS or a manlet you should reasonably be able to maintain 12% bodyfat at around 1800 calories, this is PLENTY of calories to make multiple enjoyable meals throughout the day. Spartans had spartan discipline because they were infantry peons that had to be beat into submission. This kind of mindset is a really cringe woe is me "I have to torture myself!" And unless you are really young and have a super malleable neuropathy you will never develop this level of discipline so just learn how to get dopamine while still eating healthy

Everyone got it's own approach to fat loss, you either go hard or you go slow and maintainable.
It's different for everyone

You just discovered starving yourself isn't good congratulations.
If you're active with some muscle mass you can stay lean on over 3000 calories.
