Yeah west Africans and central Africans are for sure more physically athletic athletic on average.

Almost every athlete from Africa who isn't a long distance runner is usually a descendant of west/central Africans.

That said they never give off an air of superiority from other Africans, in fact it's more common to find horn Africans (especially Somalis) who believe they are better than other Africans, some see themselves as closer to Arabs than other Africans.
