Nothing matters at a point where you're lower class & some middle class peasant like every other NPC.
One thing I really fucking hate is, if you're rich, you can do whatever you want. When in reality money shouldn't even have a value.
I'll use football (soccer) as an example but this also applied to other sports.
When the parents are rich, it's much easier for the child to, like..go pro, because of parents, or go higher in the academy.
Even if a kid is very good at the game, if he doesn't have connections, came from a bad and poor place, they won't let him in in most cases.
Forget about a few pro players going pro even though they were poor. That stuff was in the past. It's not like that now.
And my point here isn't even about football or sports or anything.
What I'm trying to say is if you don't have rich parents with connections, you're nothing, you don't matter.
The government doesn't care if you die.
Look at poor neighborhoods, people die everyday, stabbings, shootings. The government is doing nothing about that.
But if a rich millionaire company owners son died, the police would launch a huge investigation and the guy who committed the crime would go to prison forever.
This applies to every country and government on earth. Corruption is everywhere, you don't matter if you don't have connections.
It's just the way it is, this system was made against you, you can't win in this system.
It's extremely hard to level up your social class, that shit is not possible.
It's almost impossible, social media just portrays it as something not that hard by showing people that could do it, but those people already had rich parents and stuff.
