There is no magical number of protein intake daily that makes any difference in muscle building. I have been more muscular on low protein, and skinnier on high protein.
The human body usually cannot absorb more than 30-50 g protein every 3-6 HOURS MAX.
If you're eating more than 1 gram of protein per kilogram of Lean Body Mass, you're retarded. KYS. Any muh studies you wanna cite you can shove up your loose, Jew assholes.
All that extra protein is just contributing to your IBS, shit gut issues, water retention/bloat, etc. You're more likely to bloat with high protein NOT high carbs, despite what morons tell you.
Even 230 + lb. muscular dudes like John Cena probably don't need more than 120 grams a day. He MIGHT benefit going a bit above that, but as stated IT'S NEGLIGIBLE & he'd be big anyways.
After a RELATIVELY EASILY reachable amount daily, anymore is wasted, does nothing, & costs you. Two 1/3 lb. cheeseburgers a day already meets > 70% of your needs (~65 grams)
So what retard is buying protein powders, force feeding themselves way more than their body needs? You can buy 2 Gatorade protein bars -- that's 40 g & probably > 50% your DV%.
