Something I discovered, I uploaded a video that reached 10k views which is normal for a typical upload of mine that doesn't have additional success
When it was at 10k views the clickthrough rate was 8.9% which is standard once it has been seen by all of my active audience
I used a clickbait thumbnail that my audience would've been used to but once the vid got pushed to a wider audience the clickthrough rate actually began to increase
At 30k views currently it now has a CTR of 12.2%
Will see if it continues to increase as this helps the vid grow faster

Anyone who has ambitions of youtubemaxxing, I will help you with a channel niche or idea if you have an interest in making vids about something

Take clickbait to the next level with WHOLE CHANNEL BAITING.

Name your channel “Wheat Waffles”, make your profile pic Wheat Waffles’s logo, and upload videos that have Wheat-Waffles-style thumbnails. Guaranteed views because your videos are indistinguishable from a 120K+ YouTuber’s videos.

I'm all ears man, been trying to think/find a niche for a year now. The only thing i came up with is movie recaps. Also 30k views is not a lot, are you doing shorts? The user Seth seems to be making a lot of money from finance videos but dunno how it's done.

I am interested in this, how long do you think it would take to learn how to edit videos? Can i learn in a week?

You've been trying to think of a niche for a year now and you have came up with one single idea?

Do you intend on including footage of the movie within the review?
If so, how much can you include that still allows the video to be monetized?
Are you going to be reviewing movies that are just released or old ones?
If just released, will you just be watching movies you have an interest in or be watching all movies for the sake of making the reviews?
Are you willing to show your face on camera?
Who is your target audience?
Why would someone watch a movie review? To decide if they want to see the movie? (hence hearing spoilers) Or to listen to someone elses opinion after they watch the movies themselves?
What would make someone watch your movie review as opposed to someone with 1 million subs who's review shows up as the first search result

You said 30k views is not a lot, relative to what? You don't know how long the video has been uploaded for
The purpose of me mentioning the viewcount was to show that CTR can increase as views increase in some circumstances when it's usually expected to decrease.

No I don't upload youtube shorts, there isn't enough financial benefit to make it worth making high effort shorts, low effort shorts cheapen the channel

In terms of just putting clips together and switching out audio and putting text over clips, can be done in a day with enough focus
In terms of more complex stuff you can continue learning for years

I forgot to mention i am low IQ and movie recaps seemed like a good idea back then because i know more about movies/tvseries than 99% of people, and i was confident i could make better recap videos than the 3rd worlders that were making them at the time. If i just pulled the trigger, a year later now i would probably have a decent channel.
Yes footage is included but edited into a 10-14 minute video usually, take a look at any movie recpa channel on youtube to get a good idea of what it's like.
I've seen enough movies/series domestic and foreign so that's not an issue and even then i can watch any new ones since i'm a NEET with time on my hands. I'm not showing any face, nor do they show any face, it's not necessary.
Target audience? everyone
It's not a movie review, it's a movie recap, go youtube and search it. It became massive niche in the past 2 years. Zoomers/people would rather watch a recap of a movie in 10-15 minutes instead of wasting 2 hours of watching the film.
30k views is not a lot, i mean are you really making any decent money from that? i don't think so but i see you're just talking about CTR so my mistake.
Shorts can be a good way to get attention to your channel and you can make good money from it. Take a look at nqfilms, fanshow-0 and other channels that edit and upload clips of tv series etc, now you will say you can't monetize this but they are paid from the youtube shorts fund and from my knowledge youtube shorts fund is like $450 per 1 million views and these guys are getting tens of millions of views a month so it's definitely profitable.
Maybe i should try and do finance videos like seth.

Based on your initial reply I wasn't expecting you to have thought it out to that extent
I have never watched a movie review so decided to search it up and seen that it was indeed either pajeets or some American white with a well established channel
I wasn't aware of the movie recap niche for low attention span zoomers
It seems like you know everything you need to do then so there is nothing preventing you from trying it
I got 12million views in 2022
30k is just the region where a video shows signs of breaking out to go onto 200k+

I also have the idea for a finance channel down the line simply for the good CPM it gives

Can one make a living from it Iin 2023
