Just tested a moving average strategy on historic data for tons of coins and observed that the win rates were very low (10-20%) max. Profits greatly outweighed losses, for literally every coin. And concluded some coins are way better to trade than others (some better than Solana, over the same time frame). Crypto creates REAL trends, that’s where the money is. Stick to your rules and endure your strategy.Would you be kind enough to elaborate?
Would be hard, to swallow a 9 times in a row (or more) loss streak.Just tested a moving average strategy on historic data for tons of coins and observed that the win rates were very low (10-20%) max. True but you gotta have max position sizes, tight stoploss, max total drawdown etc, regardless of the win rate or how many losses you endure in a row. Of course, any strategy can see 99-100% drawdown but it's about minimising the risk of ruin.Would be hard, to swallow a 9 times in a row (or more) loss streak.
Yes, I understand that. And how that works on the theory. Doing 10 trades. Losing like average 150 usd on each 9 trades. And the 10th trade, being right and letting it run, to like 2500 usd profit.
