I get you man, it's scary at a young age.

I thought I was safe too jfl since my dad is nw2 in his 50's, his dad is nw2 in his 80's, and mom's dada was norewood 2 in his 80's.

Unfortunately my uncles, are norwooding since their early 20's....

It could be from acutane, or maybe thyroid. Did you get your hormones checked?

sorry this is happening to you bhai. i started losing my hair around 15 and only noticed when i was 17.

finasteride and minoxidil are the only fda approved medications for hair loss.

min is relatively safe and you should be able to use it right now. but the issue with min is its effects won't last long term.

finasteride on the other hand stops the cause of hair loss and its effects do last long term. the issue with finasteride is that it messes with your hormones, so you should not use it until you are 18 minimum, but it's probably better to wait till 21. and there are potential side effects like loss of sex drive, erectile dysfunction, and mood related stuff. some people have no side effects, some people have mild side effects, some people have really bad side effects.

you could also look into hair systems or scalp micro pigmentation if you don't want to take medication and instead want to fraud your hair.
