Fair enough, I think it's because in European countries it's "muh 6ft +", whereas the height requirement to be considered tall in Asian countries is lower, so compared to European countries it seems there's less emphasis on it.

So coming to think of it, the girls who preferred the short Asian prettyboys were probably around average height for (foreign) Asian men, but seemed short in comparison to European men.
