How fast does hair grow on 5mg oral minoxidil?

Have a friend who was starting to lose hair. He got prescribed just 1.5mg and he’s good now. If 1.5mg was enough for him, what would 5mg do?

I’m not balding at all but there are a few other reasons why I want to take oral min. If hair grows 1-1.5cm per month naturally, any clue how many cm it would grow on 5mg?

I told him to get on fin/dut later bc his hair will fall again lol. He doesnt know anything about hair loss medication, thats why he was content with just the oral min

I dont know exactly but the difference is very small relative to low dosages like your friend is using, go with a lower dosage

Yeah it used to grow super slow which was kinda nice because i could get away easily witht monthly haircuts but now i get them once every 2 or 3 weeks
