It's interesting how Italians, Indians, etc share the same med identity. Before discovering this forum I didn't know it. But then again Italians and Indians have similar traits: short and darker coloring.

south italians are often indistinguishable from north curries. funny how phenotypes can be like that, considering there is so much distance between them

Indeed. Northern Italians tend to be more European looking. I have heard that southern Italy reminds Africa and northern Italy resembles Europe. Seems accurate.

Some hospitals in southern Italy are on par with hospitals found in the developing world. This is what some southern Italian doctors say - I trust their judgment. People there live with their parents until they are 35 because of no money for their own place. That sucks!
