0.5ml for the cheek modification is very little. Every doc I had a consultation with suggested i start with 1ml each cheek. And my 404 cheeks are larger than your tbh...

95% of high fashion models LOOK FEMININE due to their CHEEKBONES. It does not make them ugly though

Secondly, I do not see how 1ml filler would make it feminine... for your face, where cheekbones are recessed, i don't think even 1.5ml would make a cut

But anyways, listen to your doctor, I am not a medical specialist. BUt I suggest you go to another doc for a second opinion

If he did this corerctly, 0 risk. The migration is overblown on this forum: it just doesn't happen outside of lips, and forehead (places where the injections are not on the bone).

As for the remaining filler, we do not even know if it matters at all. MRI would pick up even trace molecules in the skin. The study was IMO weak.

PS. Also, for him to turn Bogdanoff, he needs another 25 ml of filler

why do you have to get a refills every 12months in that case, and why do you lose the original sharp result within the first 2-3months if fillers don't migrate when injected onto the bone? they'll end up puffing up the face in the long run even though they give great results in the short-run

Exactly because the fillers dissolve completely from the skin with time... isn't it the point you were arguing?

1) Because the filler is gradually dissolved in the skin... WHen its amount falls under the threshold, it will not give sharpness anymore
2) Fillers are not sharp always. Only high-viscosity fillers give this "sharpness", and they NEVER look like in the immediate post-injection after-photos. There is way less sharpness than what people imagine them here.

I do not believe it. This is really an urban legend. All people puffed-up from fillers have either mental disorders (Bogdanoff) OR
they legit try to escape the facelift, and inject 10s of mls into the skin, in an attempt to LIFT the skin, when the only procedure indicated in such cases is a facelift. In fact, many stupid stars do this. Especially women, since they need sharp contours less than men
