I applied tret the other day and had to call an ambulance. Ded srs. I got an allergic reaction. I'm still not sure if it was the tret or the soy sauce that I ate for dinner. The reaction came after applying tret though...

only been a month so far but its improved big time tbh, had some acne and hyperpigmentation before but now acnes completely gone and hyperpigmentation is a lot less visible

Yh in about 30min. I'm only putting a tiny amount on. It makes no sense that tret would cause a systemic reaction like that though...
I went through one tube of 0.05% without any issues. Then opened a new tube and I had 1 serious reaction + a milder reaction yesterday. Maybe they put some kind of nut derivative (I am allergic to nuts) in it but seems unlikely. Fuark it's frustrating tbh but tret hasn't been able to clear up my acne completely anyway...
Might just go back to adapalene. I'll just cope by adding a bunch of other collagen-maxxing actives like vit c, madecassoside gel and matrixyl.
