65mm ipd is normal, your midface is just pretty short then

I'd need to see your face. Generally speaking it would be negligibly better, as men typically have taller midfaces compared to women, and squished midfaces are unappealing. However, I wouldn't even bat an eyelid to it considering it literally wouldn't make a difference. If it were longer it might actually affect the FWHR, so whether or not it'd be ideal depends on your facial width
