As I reach 1,500 posts and my username turns green, I would like to take the opportunity to raise awareness of the great peril our natural world faces. Climate change, urbanisation and pollution of the environment threaten not only countless animal species but human civilisation itself as we know it. We must all do our bit to reduce our environmental impact whilst supporting campaigns and policies to decarbonise our society and preserve this beautiful planet for future generations.
