I’m exactly one month post-op and had all three done during the same operation: custom infraorbital/malar implants, custom jaw angle implants, and a sliding genioplasty.
My biggest concern right now is how much overall facial fullness I still have. The midface doesn’t just look puffy. The area underneath the malar/infraorbital region seems to project outward rather than taper inward, giving my cheeks a very rounded and convex appearance. There’s basically no inward transition beneath the cheekbone area right now.
I also still have noticeable fullness through the lower cheeks and lower third around the jaw. There isn’t much narrowing as you move down from the midface, so right now my face looks much broader and fuller overall than I expected.
I know one month is still early, especially since I had all three procedures done at once, so I’m trying to figure out how much of what I’m seeing is still swelling versus the actual result.
For anyone who had something similar, especially infraorbital/malar and jaw angle implants together, did your face still look this full and outwardly projected at four weeks? How much did the midface and lower-third fullness decrease between months 1, 2, and 3?
