i'm feeling so much better. it's really a brutal surgery. nobody talks about how brutal it really is. i had an assymetric advancement due to my bite being assymetric but i got a total of 8.3mm of advancement + around 2mm maxilla advancement.
i thought it wasn't a lot but my surgeon explained that if he advanced the maxilla anymore it would look worse.
day 1-3 are the worst but now i'm finally feeling myself again and i can talk more and im finally walking around again. here's my before and after (before swelling went up but still swollen) keep in mind my lips make me look slightly recessed still but the rubber bands are forcing a slight overbite to gradually get me used to the new bite
