Dunno but my experience in the UK is that orthodontics was considered cosmetic and my parents refused to pay at the time so now I’m getting £30k surgery (again considered cosmetic) to fix my deep bite and recession.

Money will at least let you not be dressed in hand-me-downs that don’t fit you, ugly homemade haircuts cause your parents won’t pay the barber, be able to do after school activities, having new iPhones and shit like that.
