12.5MG Dutasteride Anecdote Month around 7-8

Hello all I hope everyone is healthy and well I have had a great last month of life and have had alot of fun I hope the same for everyone else , ive got a book incoming below for those interested, DNRs accepted aswell trust me I get it.

Ive done a few posts here and there regarding this topic and giving a update on my progress and experience and well this is another turd in the toilet.

I started norwooding at 17 and im 19 (bday last month) now. Hopped on fin for 7 months then dutasteride 0.5MG EOD and fin ED for a few months then dut Daily 0.5 for a few then 2.5 for 6 months and now 12.5 for 1-2 months now. This hopping around stemmed from mostly gaining knowledge on the topic over time. My dose will not change now

Ive been shedding continuedly through this process likely from swapping around meds and such.
Im very happy to say now that I am seeing the light at the end of the tunnel, although I am now experiencing a slight crown shed (never had crown thinning) I now have days on end where my shedding is very minimal less than 50 hairs a day although they seem to be followed by days of excessive shedding but I am seeing more good than bad now.


If this all turns out to be shit and im actually just balding still you will not see another post as I will of killed myself

I will also note my hair is not dry but doesnt require daily washing anymore oil buildup is non existent now, pretty much wash it once or twice a week to not dry it out. Girlfriend says it doesnt stink so dont worry guys im not indian(i checked my credit score)

The only worry hopping on young is fucking with your dick. I hit puberty at like 8 I was very young and I was finished it young also like 14 or 15 I was pretty much fully grown. my babysitter at 12 took pictures of my penis and called me mandick to her friends but that a diff story.

You need to be proactive though man ngl theres no time to wait. I couldnt tell you honestly what to do this is for someone with a higher knowledge of things then me that can take all factors into consideration.

Your shedding numbers are well within the normal even low on non wash days, but if that shedding is mostly hairline and crown it may be a issue.
Theres no way to really tell I shed no hair in the shower ever but when playing with my hair it gets rough.
Dutasteride is a harmless drug if your a healthy male your just simply not gonna get sides for 98% of people.
If the drug is harmless I would just take it, your prob gonna bald eventaully like most men so might aswell get ahead of the curve.

I've been planning to start but I'm still somewhat developing (late puberty) and I'm scared that inhibiting dht is gonna lead to me loosing whatevers left. Hair is life tho

When did you hit puberty? You’re around a NW2 right now. You have to get on topical RU58841 and/or KX 826. If you don’t get on any dht blockers (topical or oral) before 18, you’ll probably get down to NW4 territory bare minimum by then.

Realistically you’ll be in the clear to use oral dht blockers like fin or dut once you’ve stopped growing in terms of height for at 1.5-2

Well there are massively diminishing returns to dutasteride with increasing dosages past 0.5 mg daily already I think. Hard to suppress DHT in many places more than it already is when you are already at 95-99% suppression. So if your dick still works with very low systemic DHT then what would a tiny bit more suppression eveb do? I take dut too and my dick works great but only 2-3x a week(usually 3x but sometimes I forget), but did higher and still no problems. If your dick works fine on just T then it should be fine.
