Modern medicine amazing. With the literature we have today we are able to modulate our bodies so specifically to get the highest QOL we can possibly achieve

There are holistic doctors, there are good doctors yes, but they are from what I've seen in the minority. The average healthcare professional is almost reduced to a legal drug peddler. Dispensing various pills like candy because he or she was taught treating symptoms = treating disease.

Big pharma is doing a very good job at lumping any sort of holistic care with the voodoos and crystals. In the future, there might come a time where almost everyone believes in you need the happy pill. I already know people who blatantly have shitty lifestyles and will make up for it with drugs. Problem is they are under the notion that Pharmacology FIXES their disease, not altering their bodies to merely ease symptoms in most cases

Everyone should learn basic healthcare for themselves and rely on themselves for remedying health. Hospitals and clinics aren't good for anything but diagnostic imaging and intensive care

But cause weight gain, supresses testosterone, increases prolactin etc. Makes you really weak too.
