Puberty isn't over at 14, but it has surely had its toll. The average 14 year old boy is mostly finished growing and is already physically superior to adult women. Yes, the average 25 year old woman would get beaten down pretty badly by the average 14 year old boy.

You do realize that in most cultures historically, you were considered a grown adult at 14-15ish, right? Ready to marry and go to war.

Sure, now we live in peaceful times so we don't need to rush things. But the human body and mind is still biologically ready to undergo those processes at young ages. That's how we evolved. It doesn't cause trauma or mental illness on anyone. That's something that has always been normal throughout human evolution and recorded history all over the world.




No they aren't. That's a wild assumption and generalization that you're making based off what society has told you. How many of such relations are you personally familiar with? I'm guessing none. So how come you're so confidently claiming that they're always abusive?
They can be abusive, as any relationship can be at any age. But no, they aren't unhealthy in and of themselves. Plenty of people engage in such relations and end up just fine. You only hear about the ones that end badly because those are the ones that make the news.

The obsession with age gaps is very reddit/soy but it becomes especially ridiculous when the older person is a female and the younger person is a male.

Promiscuity doesn't negatively effect males the way it does females, and also the obvious physical strength difference makes it so silly even on it's face.
