Yes and no. I was born with a severe overbite (class 2 malocclusion) up until I discovered lookism and consulted an orthodontist to get it corrected. No one else in my family ever had this defect except for me but other than that I admit that I have good genetics. Overbites can completely ruin a face and fuck up the airway.

It maybe less efficient past puberty but definitely still works if overbite is your problem. If you have an actual recessed chin bone you need surgery

For your age low to medium chadlite seems good imo. You are already 6'1 at 17 and already have a wonderfull physique/height/jaw/eye area. You must have a good potential, possibly low chad in your 20's if you reach 6'2-6'3 and have stronger features by that age.

Overbite not underbite and puberty did nothing to fix it, only hardmax (ortho)
Pic below from September of last year when I was 16 and pretty much done with puberty

Now that the class 2 malocclusion is fully corrected my teeth are in completely different areas and my bite feels completely different.
