Is it worth going to 10% bf if you're face already looks good at 15%?

When I was on cycle and 15-20% bf I noticed a lot more IOIs from girls despite having slightly bloated face because I looked huge in shirts. This is where guys like @Tonymontana are coping when they say being shredded is better, but they are not even over 20 laycount.

As I have cut down, my face has improved but I have not seen a huge difference in reactions from girls, if anything I was getting more IOIs when I was bigger.

So which is better, being 15% of 10%?

Ofc its worth it, but getting to single digit BF takes a lot of effort

Most guys are skinnyfat so you can still get girls even at 20%

But 10% will make your face look better and sharper, just really annoying to cut down tbh

It's a tradeoff between leaner face and bigger size. On cycle you get a lot of bloat weight which makes your face look worse but you fill out clothes better. Guys here say you need to be lean, hollow cheeks, but I was still slaying even when my face was bloated

Im natural, and I still look very big in clothes even at 10%. So ofc its possible but you need to have a good frame.

you likely have more niche appeal with bigger muscle, but overall appeal with a leaner face. if you're not good looking you'd be better off getting a physique halo than improving your face IMO

play towards your strengths.

although, if you're enhanced, shouldn't both be possible?
 
It depends, some guys never get a lean face and some guys look like a male model even between 15-20% bf. For me it makes a difference, but 12%ish is fine.

All that matters is your IRL experience, and if you get laid just as much or even more at 15-20% bodyfat, then obviously stay there.

But I think what’s happening is that you’re not close to 10% bodyfat yet, probably mentally fatigued from dieting, and at the stage where you just look flat and smaller but not lean enough to where the insane definition and proportions halo you. Face at that point isn’t just lean. It becomes extremely chiseled, and you get very rare, striking features like sunken in hollow cheeks and jawline looks “sharp” and not just visible.

For the absolute vast majority of men, they are significantly more attractive at 10% bf vs 15-20. It’s just difficult to maintain, and the things you have to do to sustain that leanness yearround (perfect diet, daily cardio) isn’t “worth it” to most guys.

The difference between 10%bf and 15-20% for myself is night and day. That’s literaly when I’ve been asked by random strangers if I’m a model. Weird shit as well like one time I picked up food from a restaurant, and an hour later I got a text saying “I hope this doesn’t weird you out, but you came by the restaurant I work at earlier today, and you are the most beautiful man I’ve ever seen.”

That’s when I consistently get approached when I’m out in public and especially bars/nightclubs. The “game” I need at low bodyfat to pull is non existent. All I can share is my personal experiences. At 15-20% bodyfat, I have to put in a TON more work to get laid, and even then, the girls I can get with are less attractive and it’s less consistent. At 8-10% bf, I get a suffocating amount of attention, and worrying about pussy becomes laughable due to how easy it is to get it

Hey bro I love your bf anecdotes and 10 percent is ideal but I want to ask you, on the psl scale is 20 to 15 percent bf a bigger jump than 15 to 10? Obviously 10 is ideal but the jump from 20 to 15 must be enough to bring out jawline zygos and Masseters right? So won’t that be a bigger jump?

Not for everyone. For me staying lean is easy and I feel the highest energy when I’m lean.

It all depends on your natural appetite combined with your TDEE (total daily energy expenditure)

People who are ‘ectomorphs’ usually have no problem staying lean.

A huge part of why I stay lean effortlessly is the good habits I have in place (high activity+low calorie nutrient dense diet). I religiously lift 1.5-2 hours+1 hour of cardio every single day, and eat enormous volumes of vegetables and fruits with lean protein EVERY meal.

Part of it may be genetic, but I never see other guys with the same discipline and consistency that I have with nutrition and training/cardio. I don’t believe in “balance”. I don’t have cheat meals, drink alcohol, or have rest days. It’s 24/7 discipline 365 days of the year, but thats what makes staying lean effortless and automatic

I needed about 6 months to go from 15% to 10% even while using Clenbuterol HCL.

That included not only eating in a deficit but working out enough to make the daily Apple Watch calorie calculator show a 500-600kcal active consumption on top of RMR.

It is absolutely worth it aesthetics-wise, your abs and muscles will be more visible, your jawline and cheekbones will pop out.

But man, I don't think I can do it multiple times during one lifetime. It is definitely one of the hardest thing I did in life.
It's excruciating, being in constant hunger also induces insomnia so I had to take sleep pills.

Therefore I now just try to stay 10-12% year round, if I slip I just diet for a few weeks to go back to 12% or under.
