I've heard 15% body fat is the lowest you can get without being miserable from diet and exercise. Does this statement apply to all ages? I'm 26 now, when I'm 40 will maintaining 15% be a lot harder or just a little harder?

Think 12% is more right for optimal health

I see. Problem is I've heard from many people whove tried it that it fucks with your mental health quite a bit if your not the rare type of person you can handle that lifestyle. Just anecdotes though.

Nah not at 12%. It’s when you go under that it will mess with you.

Its impossible for me
It’s easy man. Just do IF. I’ve lost like 20 kg in 3 months just by dieting and cutting the beer and booze

The booze was probably the major factor. Had at least 1000 kcal from that a day

I reckon you don’t drink?

You get used to the hunger when fasting
I don’t drink yes. No smoke either. I should tbh restart a water fast.

15% is too much of body fat. U need to be atleast 12%.

10% is not super easy to achieve but doable. Under 10% you are entering in the hardcore zone.

Even if you think you look better, decreasing bf under 10% is not benefitial being natty. You will feel miserable as fuck, your eyes will start to hollow, you will feel weak and the list goes on. Also, i noticed some kind of reverse BDD whlist being under 10%, i thought i was looking better but people would point how sick looking and hollow my face was in a negative way whilist i really couldnt see how dramatic it was by looking in the mirror because of getting used to see my face day by day in this process. 10- 12% is good enough.

just watch this, he talks about finding the right body fat % for you

Genetics play a big role. I've tried every tip and trick I've found, and read many books on nutrition and weight loss.

It's still hard and I'm hungry most of the time. Suffering is required for some people. deal with it.

All processed foods are hyper addictive and cause over consumption for me. I would never eat noodles.

Most guys as they age look less fat at the same bodyfat % as they age. Late 20s 15% would be like 16%, then 17% mid 30s and 40 probably about 18%.
