No, nigga. Tretinoin and Accutane are both strong retinoids. However, accutane is a stronger retinoid than tretinoin. You use accutane if you have insane acne that does not go away no matter what. Accutane will rid your acne in 4-6 months. However you will go through a purge phase (tretinoin does that too). You get these prescribed at a derma or a GP. I currently use tretinoin and it has worked quite well for me.

You will need to use spf 50+ and pa++++ when you use tret or isotret(accutane). Reapply every 3-4 hours. You can tell your derma/gp that you are feeling low self esteem due to acne to receive tretinoin. Isotret is a bit more complicated though
