15, i do quite a bit of lifting (still new, im overweight so in a defecit with high protein intake), no gyms near so im using adjustable dumbells, curling about 10kg right now, and my backpack is always heavier than everyone else i know by a long shot (bigger clothing, coats/PE uniform is my guess), just wondering if this will affect my growth? im still quite short and have been thinking of taking hgh but yeah thats a little besides the point

I would assume that wearing a heavy backpack would grow your traps, which should be avoided

do you think a backpack in general should optimally be avoided or only because its heavier?

only because its heavy, increased weight is the only thing that will grow the muscle

Both won’t affect your growth
But for the sake of ur comfort
Don’t walk around with a heavy backpack .

heavy ligting is not gonna effect your growth neither is the heavy backpack gonna effect it since your body mostly grows in the deep sleep

most likely no, but if your backpack is genuinely hard to pick up heavy, than it’s going to cause problems
