first thing, those round glasses are washing you out. they make your face read softer and hide your eyebrows, which are actually one of your stronger features. switch to something angular, low-bridge, maybe matte black or tortoiseshell. they’ll pull your eye region upward and frame the face better. your brows need light structuring—nothing overdone, just clean the underside and brush them into a sharper line. a bit of gel helps too. right now they’re thick but diffuse, and that makes your top half feel flat. skin-wise, you’re even-toned but matte in a dull way. exfoliate twice a week (salicylic acid if oily, lactic if dry), get on vitamin c in the morning, and use a niacinamide moisturizer. dermaplaning once a month wouldn’t hurt either, it’ll make your skin reflect light better, more dimension overall. hair is too flat right now. use a matte texturizing powder or sea salt spray and get some lift at the crown. honestly, even just a light tousle upward will open your face more. if your hair’s thinning at all, get on low-dose minoxidil early, it’s easier to keep than to recover. jawline’s not bad, but you’re not optimizing it. posture work (chin tucks, neck flexor stuff), low sodium, and clean mewing technique will subtly sharpen your profile over time. don’t expect miracle angles; just control and tension. lastly, your resting face reads too blank. start training subtle eye engagement, lower lid tension, light narrowing, even when neutral. learn how to hold a half-smile that activates the face without looking tryhard. expression adds dimension when bone structure can’t carry alone.

finally a reply worth reading, is a sea salt spray all i need to fix my hair? one of the most comments i get about my looks is that my hair sucks and if all it needed was texture i shouldve done this earlier. also i was already going low sodium before i posted this but idrk what chin tucks or other posture exercises are, ill look into those. thanks. my mom runs a beauty salon so maybe i could get skincare (exfoliating) and eyebrows done there for free. About the frames i have these super expensive glasses that cant be shaved to a new frame so ill have to wait until i get new glasses to also buy a new frame

appreciate the thoughtful response. yeah, if your hair’s getting called out consistently, it’s not just about texture, but texture’s a good starting point. sea salt spray helps if your cut supports it. without the right base shape, texture products can’t do much. you’ll want a haircut that works with your growth pattern and head shape, something layered or with subtle tapering can give your hair structure to actually hold shape once you use salt spray. i'd suggest you bring in a couple of references next time, especially of styles with similar hair type. on posture, yeah, it’s one of those boring long-term wins. chin tucks are dead simple: you sit or stand straight, pull your chin straight back (like you're trying to give yourself a double chin), hold for 5–10 seconds, and repeat. strengthens deep neck flexors, which improves both posture and jaw definition visually. pair that with neck bridges or resistance band work when you're ready to level up. you can throw in a few facial exercises as well. if your mom has tools like LED therapy masks or professional exfoliants, see if you can work those into a weekly routine, acne control and skin texture will accelerate. don't overdo exfoliating though, 2x a week max or you'll wreck your barrier. on the glasses: fair. if your lenses are expensive and locked into that frame, no point rushing it. just make sure the next pair frames your face well, low-profile, medium-thin arms, rounded rectangle or browline depending on where your orbital rim and eyebrows sit. small detail, big impact. remember that no potential is greater than your mindset and will.
