17M – 2.5mg Oral Minoxidil Experience (Day 27)
Been on 2.5mg oral minoxidil for about a month now.
The Bad: The only real issue I had was in the first week after bumping from 1.25mg to 2.5mg. I slept all day with basically no food or water, and my BP went up to around 137/74. I felt like shit, shivering, body aches, hot/cold flashes. It was 100% my fault for not eating or sleeping properly. Since fixing that, sides have been very minimal.
The Good:
Resting BP is solid now (usually 115-120 / 68-71).
I’ve noticed some visible progress by day 27, especially in my eyebrows (they look fuller).
No bloat or puffiness in my face. I still have some youthful baby fat, so nothing unusual there.
Occasional weird feelings (feeling hotter than normal or a little off when standing up), but nothing major.
Overall, I’d say go for it if you’re considering it. Everyone responds differently, but for me the sides have been pretty manageable as long as I eat, sleep, and stay hydrated. Just don’t be a retard like I was in the first week.
