Under the recent peace agreement the borders are supposed to be opened eventually, but idk if it will actually be implemented

i presume it might be lifted by 2040 or something if things go ok and no hostility happens again

it seems like we kavkazis have relatives from every region, i have had relatives in armenia (before 1988), georgia and russia. this russpigs fucking ruined our friendship

my family they are parskahye but originally from nakhchievan

a pity that war made them refugees
my grandparents said they dont really hate armenians they had actually lots of friends from there

Yeah ive heard the same from many refugees from the war
and also i remember reading during the baku pogrom some azeris they tried to hide their armenian neighbors from the mob

My dad used to have lots of Azeri friends back in the Soviet days, he still fondly remembers the times when we got along with each other

From the part of iran my grandmother is from there were azeris and ermenis living alongside each other
She even had some azeri ancestry herself and her father and brothers all spoke Azeri, even when they spoke hayeren they had a thick azeri accent

Azeris and Armenians still get along well in Iran afaik, iranian azeris i know online have told me this
