I'm 18 years old, not fat but lean. I am starting reta next week and wanted to know about the possible risks from taking reta. Also how much mg I should start on and gradually work my way up to.

1-4 mg work your way up 9-12 mg from what i've heard, dont hold me up to it

I started at 2mg but that was too much. I would recommend starting at 1. As far as side effects you can get nauseous and bloated but thats about it.

I was on reta at 17 my protocol was: first week try 0.5-1mg then up the dosage by .5 each week until you're at 2, then run 2 for a while, if you dont feel the effects as much up to 3 etc... also dont just hop off randomly, go down from 3-2.5-2-1 etc... I didnt really get any sides personally but if u start dosing higher you can get nauseous, skin sensitivity. Just make sure to take your time and take the process slow.

After my first pin which was 1mg I didn't feel any thing so I pinned another 1mg one day later. Then the next day I ate a Chipotle bowl and was painfully full. I could feel the food fermenting due to the delayed gastric emptying. So I guess I noticed the effects within a few days.

scale wise first week, I noticed my face and body getting considerably leaner before my 3rd week

no it just depends, I started at 2mg and barely felt a thing I just felt fuller for longer and could go like 18 hours without eating. But I never had an appetite crash or any nausea symptoms, only had acidic smelling burps and acid reflux but I already suffered with that

My piece of advice is: Start at 1mg for 4 weeks, then slowly titrate up. Do not increase the dosage if you "do not feel it." If you read the studies on Retatrutide. They all wait 4 weeks before increasing their doses. If you do increase your dose before 4 weeks, it won't be any different; however, you are just exposing yourself to more side effects that you will not feel at a lower dose, and you will be wasting those valuable mg's.
